Albert Hofmann
Albert Hofmann was a Swiss scientist, best known for the invention of the psychedelic drug lysergic acid diethylamide, better known as LSD. He was born on January 11, 1906, in Baden, Switzerland where his father Adolf worked as a factory tool maker.
